STARTUP VILLAGE

Startup Village started in 2016 with shipping containers converted into offices, based on a design by Julius Taminiau Architects, inspired by Pop Brixton in the London borough of Brixton. The entire project was completed in 2018, including the Venture Studio.

The event space is located in the Venture Studio. This space can be divided into two parts: Day and Night. A flexible wall separates Day and Night. The name ‘Night’ means there is no daylight. Night is a space with all the basic amenities you need for an event, at a very good price. Suitable for up to 120 people in a theater setup.

The name ‘Day’ refers to ‘daylight’, as this part of the event space has windows. For 40 weeks a year, this space is used as a classroom for the UvA. Suitable for up to 50 people in a theatre-style setup.

DEK WEST

The Bonte Zwaan was built in 1966 on the NDSM shipyard as a floating office building for cargo mail. In 2002, the Bonte Zwaan was transformed into business premises for creative companies and is now fantastically located in the Houthavens.

Dek West in the Bonte Zwaan is a multifunctional space that can be used for meetings, exhibitions, presentations, dinners, drinks, and receptions. The 260m² space can also be divided into two separate spaces of 165m² and 95m² by means of a sliding wall. This makes it extremely suitable for all types of events, and The Eet-team is happy to provide the catering for them.

LEVENSLANG

Organize an impressive event in the former boiler house of the historic Bijlmerbajes. The location has a rugged, industrial character, but thanks to the abundant greenery and neon lighting, it still exudes warmth and intimacy.

Welcome to Levenslang Amsterdam, where all the ingredients are present for a perfect event. The location is easily accessible, features multiple rooms and a terrace, and the rich history of the site makes for a fascinating story.

GALERIE OKER

Galerie Oker, located on Kerkstraat, is an atmospheric and elongated space approximately 25 meters long, perfectly suited for various events. With a capacity of up to 24 people for meetings in a boardroom setup, this space is ideally suited for workshops and training sessions.

In addition, the space is also perfectly suitable for larger groups; for example, lunches and sit-down dinners can be held for approximately 50 people, and it is possible to organize walking dinners and drinks receptions in a formal setting for up to 100 people.

THE UNBOUND

Located in the green gardens of Amsterdam West lies The Unbound. Alongside various other facilities, you will find the Vuurplaats and the Botanic here, two beautiful locations on the grounds of The Unbound where your next event can take place.

De Vuurplaats owes its name to the two hearths and chimneys that make the pavilion recognizable. With 150 m² of flexible space, it is perfect for weddings, presentations, and meetings. The glass walls create a clubhouse atmosphere and offer views of the lake and the gardens.

The Botanic (167 m²), with wooden and marble interiors, enjoys natural light and opens onto a terrace with a pond view. The combination of modern and classic styles, together with warm, earthy tones, creates an inviting and stylish environment.

TOBACCO THEATER

TOBACCO features ten versatile halls, equipped with excellent technical equipment, a movable stage, a flat floor, and professional theater lighting. This makes the location ideal for various business events.

For conferences and symposia, TOBACCO offers everything needed to organize a successful (international) event, with space for up to 350 people. It is also suitable for meetings, from intimate to large-scale, in an exclusive and inspiring setting.

In addition, TOBACCO is perfect for product presentations. Let the location surprise you and present your product in a unique way. Company parties can be celebrated on a grand scale, with space for as many as 600 guests.

HOUSE OF WOODSTOCK

House of Woodstock is a characterful event venue located in an authentic Amsterdam warehouse, right in the heart of bustling Amsterdam North. The space exudes atmosphere thanks to high ceilings, a robust beam structure, and stylish furnishings featuring natural materials that create both an industrial and warm ambiance.

With a surface area of ​​300 m² and space for 10 – 120 people, this is an ideal setting for a wide range of events such as presentations, workshops, private dining, product launches, meetings, and even (official) weddings.

The location features high-quality facilities such as an integrated projector with a large screen, a professional sound system, and adjustable mood LED lighting. The large entrance hall is perfect as a breakout room, and through the glass doors you walk straight onto the atmospheric waterside terrace with a fireplace and a view of the IJ.

BAGAGEHAL LOODS6

The Bagagehal is a spacious and high exhibition and presentation space with a raw, industrial character. Thanks to the flexibility of this space, it is ideal for events such as exhibitions, fashion shows, and product presentations.

The hall can also be rented partially, where you can choose from two spaces of 300 m² (West) and 580 m² (East) respectively. Moreover, the hall has its own entrance and can be locked.
